Our founder

Bassem saw how messy startup finance could get while leading operations at top Web3 companies. From token payrolls to cross-border tax filings, he watched founders lose precious time wrestling with complexity. Drawing on a decade of finance and compliance experience — including senior roles at Coinshift and ChainSafe — he started Raqam to give Web3 teams a finance partner they could trust.
